Part II:
Use concentrated ammonia (dispense in the hood!).
The experiment will work only  if the mixture is deep dark purple/clear and not emerald/turbid after addition of ammonia. There cannot be any solid  in the mixture, and the set-up must be air tight.
The addition of peroxide must occur at a constant rate to avoid backup of the solution from the bottle. Collect only 3 bottles of oxygen.
Part  III:
do not perform A, B;
Part IV:
do not use HgO and  PbO2;
do not perform part  V.
